Fiery Tongues at Bats - Reviewed by Tilda Bostwick

This is a show about poems through the ages used in protest songs and revolutionary slogans.

Four superb actors/singers treat us to renditions of songs and poems and one steadily narrates, while Mr Blues strums and drums.

It is an affirming and stirring show, and if we were not convinced of the power of poetry enough by now, we are treated to two chalk and cheese live poets performing their own works - to, at this stage, the most poetry loving and receptive audience alive!

I came out smiling and ready to join the revolution which of course will not be televised! An awesome show.

On at Bats Theatre as part of the Fringe Festival. Read all about it here and to book tickets.
