One day, six stages, 45 of our best bands and DJs, and 17,000 eager fans. Kiwi music’s biggest party returns to the Wellington Waterfront on Saturday 2 March 2013, and it's gonna be massive.  

Jim Beam Homegrown is at the forefront of music culture. The festival returns to the Wellington Waterfront  with an imposing line up and a reputation for ground breaking live performances.

After last year's epic performances some of your favourite acts have been brought back, and there have been a few fresh faces added too.

New Zealand music doesn’t get any better than this.

With total sell outs five years in a row and a reputation for delivering the very best Kiwi music, Jim Beam Homegrown (previously Vodafone Homegrown) is Wellington's premier kiwi music festival. Check out these acts:

The Jim Beam Rock Stage - Shihad, I Am Giant, Elemeno P, Midnight Youth, Villainy, King Cannons, Clap Clap Riot, Luger Boa and Nata aka DJ Phoney Iommi.

The Vodafone Dub & Roots Stage -  Shapeshifter, Kora, The Black Seeds, Katchafire, Ladi6, AHoriBuzz, DJ-Sir-Vere and Sunshine Sound System.

The Lipton electronic stage - Concord Dawn, The Upbeats ft. MC Tali, Minuit, Opiuo, Dick Magik Johnson, Thane Kirby vs. Felix5 and North Shore Pony Club.

Red Bull Sound Lab - The Peacekeepers, All My Brothers, The Babysitters Circus, Sir-Vere's Kareoke Machine ft. Che Fu, PNC & K One, Illegal Sound Clash, Cairo Knife Fight, Weird Together and DJ Redbird.

The Vodafone Pop & RnB Stage - Kids of 88, Home Brew, David Dallas, P Money & Friends, Savage, PNC, Pieter T, Zowie, Ruby Frost and Marek.

As well as great NZ music, Jim Beam Homegrown will feature lots of other cool stuff around the event. Wellington waterfront will be transformed into a festival playground. Here's a few things to look out for...

* The Red Bull Amphitheatre Performance stage with 3 0n 3 Breaking, Juse1, DJ Spell and Downtown Brown. 
* Wellington's best graffiti artists

There will also be a merchandise tent at each stage for the bands so if you like something you hear, you can buy it right then and there.
