Kate Sheppard Place Women is a fully inclusive event. Its aim is to inspire attendees to try and nudge the diversity needle in the right direction, at work, at home, and everywhere in their lives.
This is not your typical "add women, and stir" event. KSPW is putting women up front and centre, giving them a platform to push us to keep fighting for diversity and true representation. It's been 125 years since women were granted the right to vote. What's happened over that time, and what opportunities are waiting for us?
We all love to chat over dinner, so your evening meal is included in the ticket price. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements (email us at email@example.com at least one week before the event) and we'll do our best to meet your needs.
Representation is at the core of KSPW. We're working with umbrella groups that represent migrant, refugee, ethnic and LGBQT women who have lists of women keen to attend, but for whom cost is a barrier. When buying tickets, you can choose to sponsor a ticket, or make a donation.
A little extra note: We're not making any profit from this event. All the organiser's time is voluntary, and the ticket price barely covers some of the fixed costs, if you have a business that would like to sponsor KSPW, please check out the sponsor section on our website and get in touch - thank you and we hope to hear from you!
