Juniper has a delicious menu that spreads itself temptingly over brunch, lunch, and dinner. And ... it has 25 different kinds of Gin. That explains the name - Juniper fruit is, as all ruined mothers know, the vital ingredient of Gin.

One of the great things about Juniper is how perfectly it balances the business of being a restaurant, with the attractions of a sophisticated central city bar. It does both things beautifully. The food is European with touches of Pacific and Aotearoa.

The desserts too are a lovely combination of great ideas. And the surroundings are comfortable and creative. It’s a split-level layout with warmly toned furniture and comfortably lit corners. The upper level is available to hire for birthday party or work function. Juniper is open Monday to Friday from 10am till late for all day coffee, lunch, dinner and after work drinks. Saturdays are open from 5pm till late; closed Sundays.
