The epicenter of Wellington city is the Queen’s Wharf area. It is a waterfront precinct made up
of cafes, bars, shops and offices. It also has an abundance of recreational activities on offer with
the largest and most obvious being the TSB Bank
Arena.
Queens Wharf is the departure point for the Dominion Post East by West Ferry to Eastbourne as it is for many pleasure craft and
harbour excursion boats.
This handsome area is definitely the stage door of the Wellington harbour with just a few minutes
walking distance to Lambton Quay, the Cable Car, Wellington Railway Station, Frank Kitts Park, Courtenay Place and Te Papa.
