WOW! It’s the 11th anniversary of the Wellington Chinese New Year Festival.

Well, what better way to celebrate than dazzling the night sky with a spectacular fireworks display?

Expect a brilliant visual interplay with a cacophony of noise to stir up Wellington’s night sky. The Chinese invented fireworks so it’s most appropriate that we continue this ancient tradition.

The dragon will lead the way to the explosive fireworks count down at 9pm. Don't miss the excitement!
